Blue Lemon is an innovative corporate gifting, promotional clothing and events company that specialises in developing and creating unique gifting ideas to promote companies brands.

We have strategically created a niche and have positioned ourselves to take advantage of the lack of originality within the general gifting and promotional business. This has bestowed us with a reputation for being new and fresh – just the wake-up call the industry needs.

We have affiliations with a number of international companies. This gives our clients a bigger selection (i.e. gadgets to house ware) to choose from. Don't worry, if you can't find the item you are looking for on our website, simply drop us a mail and we will endeavour to find it for you.

We are currently on the SEESA BEE programme whereby we aim to be fully BEE compliant within the near future.

The Blue Lemon Strategy

At Blue Lemon, we distinguish between shelf products and conceptual ideas. While shelf products are those that are readily available in most catalogues; conceptual ideas are designed specifically to suit our client's image and their target markets.

Shelf Products

Due to the nature of the market, products are often required on an urgent basis. This leaves very little time to conceptualise and create a completely new product. In these instances, shelf products would be used with creative packaging and copy to finish off the product in a novel and unique way.

Conceptualised Products

Conceptual ideas would include any product not readily available as a shelf product. The modus operandi would be to gather as much relevant information as possible. This enables us to have a crash course introduction as well as get a feel for the company's branding and market positioning. The aphorism is that the more we understand what the company is trying to achieve, the better we are able to maximise the effect of our gifts and promotional items.

It goes without saying that such an understanding is best when the relationship is developed over a period of time. This is why Blue Lemon's strength lies in development of long term relationships; because our clients realise the true value we add!

This goes as far as having the packaging designed (including gift wrapping). Should the needs arise, we will complement and add on our strategy and solution to any existing internal or external below the line marketing or promotional campaign.

How We Operate

Companies can say that we are the ad agency of the promotional world. It all starts by meeting with an existing or potential client, taking a brief (this includes delivery times, budgets, quantity and the final outcome). We go back to the office and brainstorm a number of ideas until we have come up with the perfect promotional solution. Once we are happy with the outcome, we send through pictures, samples (where necessary) and the quote. When the quote is accepted, we start putting the campaign together.
